•  Today is 23th of September and we are started to talk about  "Sociology" which is our first unit in our book. We have answered three questions.  These are mostly about first impressions, relationships and etc. We also listened three students, they were talking about how to make a good first impression. We filled the blanks while listening it.

• Today is 25th of September and we have read an article about "Small Talk" we've talked about that article and done some activities. Also I learned that you can start a friendship with just one small talk. That  article was giving some advices about that talk, like how should we act or what should we ask. It was really fun!

• Today is 30th of September.In our lesson, we've continued with the book.Ms.Derya gave us homework so we've checked it. Also we've learned some new word such as demonstrate,maintain, lead to...We will start a new reading tomorrow. 

2/10/2020

• Today is 2nd of October. We've read an article about "Professional Email Etiquette". Also we answered questions about that article. We read that we shouldn't use casual etiquette while writing an email. We wrote a paragraph about small talk in Google Documents.

• Today is 13th of October, we finally started face to face education. I our lesson we've cht for one lesson and in the other class, we've written an article about "Future Plans" and then we download it on a Google Classroom. It was a nice lesson.

• Today is 19th of October and Ms.Derya gave a homework about first impressions. I am writing my paragaph right now.  This is my paragraph:

What are the best ways to make good first impression on others?

 Most of the people are making inaccurate first impressions. That's because of the person who acts bad but mostly, these people having not a good day so, they are act badly. We should try to understand her/him. Here are some tips for "First İmpressions".

 

We are actually making first impressions almost everyday but we are not realizing it. When you see someone new, what should you do? First, always smile, smiling gives that person confidence and positivity also, you may impress the person in front of you. Secondly, talk about his/her interestings. Once you find something in common, you'll see that you are chatting but don't overdose the sincerity you may use some slang or offensive words without realizing it. Thirdly, use you body language. For example, when you like something you can use your hands for that or you can use your facial expressions. Lastly, maintain your eye contact, it is not for just first impressions it is for every activity. Keeping eye contact demonstrates that you are interested in that topic.

 

Finally, if you are nice to that person, you may have a effective first impression. Maybe you'll become friends after few months.
